Recruitment

Formal Recruitment is a way for women who are interested in (though possibly unfamiliar with) the Greek system to have a chance to see what being Greek is all about.

Here at UW-Madison, Formal Recruitment is held in August, and will start before classes resume in the Fall, 2007.

Participating in Formal Recruitment, either as an incoming or returning student, is an excellent way to meet new people. Women of all backgrounds, regions, and interests participate in Formal Recruitment; so if you’re thinking that the Greek system may not be for you, remember that there is a friend here just waiting for you to discover her.

Upon joining Alpha Phi, a new member quickly realizes that we are committed to seeing our members reach their full potential as women. Alpha Phi’s focus on scholarship, volunteerism and sisterhood instill values in its members that will be carried on throughout their lives. And, wherever life takes you, you know that there is always a sister and a friend nearby.

Love,
Sara
